Christmas Day Brooks and Landry were sent on a scavenger hunt to find out our big vacation for 2017. They moved through the house and had either tasks to complete or questions to answer such as favorite room and why, favorite Jesse Tree ornament and Bible story leading to Jesus' birth and room with most memories. They finished back in the living room where our Christmas Tree hangs with ornaments we have collected along our travels. And then we revealed that we are going on a Disney Cruise in March and the Copeland family is coming too!!!

Carowinds 2016
In July we visited Carowinds for the first time as a family. Of course Brooks and Landry loved it and ran us all ragged. The new Furty 325 was certainly a highlight featuring a 325 foot drop. We rode the rides so may times that Mommy and Daddy had to start rotating to sit out periodically because our systems were struggling but we persevered and had a blast.
The kids are so fun to vacation with and try new adventures as they are both troopers and excited about new experiences.

Disney 2016
Disney! Yes Disney again, 3 1/2 years after the first trip, what a blast all over again!
We originally planned to go to Orlando to visit Universal Studios parks alongside Sea World. As we drew closer to time to go and did more planning, we decided the fun and family atmosphere was more our speed.
We stayed at Disney's All Star Resort. The kids did not know we were staying on Disney property until we pulled up. Of course we flew down. The resort was adorable and the sports theme was perfect for us.
Day 1:
Animal Kingdom:
We ate dinner at Yak & Yeti.
We love Expedition Everest!
Lion King is killer! You guys were giraffes.
A group of giraffes is called a tower, zebras are a dazzle and rhinos are a crash. Learned something new on on safari.

This is truly important family time. So great to be away together, laughing and enjoying each other.
Day 2:
Sea World's Aquatica Water Park
We were blessed to have purchased unlimited Quick Que passes here and at Sea World which provide unlimited front of the line experiences! Amazing and totally worth it. We especially enjoyed the 2 Break Away Falls where the slide drops out drom under you for an initial free fall as well as racing slides, a slide with all 4 of us in same raft and Dolphin Plunge in a clear slide that goes through water with dolphins swimming around you.
Dinner was in the Polynesian's Kona. Delicious!!!
Day 3:
Hollywood Studios:
The much anticipated return to Rock N' Roller Coaster. Landry was not tall enough last time and was anxious to ride!!!

Beauty and the Beast Musical and the new Frozen Sing Along were great. Storm Troopers were on duty.

Antarctica. It felt so good to be freezing with the penguins.
Dinner was a surprise to Landry. We returned to the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare. We took the ferry from Magic Kingdom to Grand Floridian and to Polynesian this week. Beautiful and relaxing.
Day 5:
Magic Kingdom:
This is such a beautiful and magical place. We had so much fun on Tom Sawyer Island and experiencing Splash Mountain which was being maintenanced on our first trip. The parade was fabulous and Dole Whip frozen treats were perfectly refreshing. Lunch was fajitas and dinner was seafood.
Landry did not ride Space Mountsin on our first trip so it was really fun experiencing it with her for the first time!
