Busch Gardens & Water Country USA

In celebration of the girls heading to Middle School, the moms took them to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.  We did this same trip with the brothers and it was just so much fun, we wanted to do it again.  The girls were such troopers as the days were long but the lines were super short with our Quick Que passes.  We were able to breeze past almost all the lines at both parks and it was totally worth it.  These are memories that will endure.  I am thankful for the group of girl friends Landry has in her life and for their mothers.

The Griffon is possibly my favorite coaster that I have ridden, period.  Landry would add Verboten which is also at Busch Gardens.

Water Country USA was a real treat.  Being familiar with the layout certainly helped us get you girls right in the game.  It was a great time had by all of us.  I literally lost my voice as I screamed on most of the rides with complete abandon and glee.  So fun!

Brooks' Last Day of 7th Grade

Last day of 7th Grade and man did it fly.  It was definitely a transition year as it was the first that your teachers were not using me in a variety of ways.  I am thankful for your 7th Grade team.  You said you will miss Ms. Mirise very much.  She really rocked out Math with you.

Mr. J always leads the staff in singing, "nah, nah, nah, nah, hey, hey, hey, good bye."

All A's All Year Principal's Award.  We are proud of your hard work and thankful for for the mind God has given you and the teachers who have taught you.

Last day was spent at Triad Park playing games, hanging out and with a cook out.

Duke Tip - Brooks

We thank the Lord for the gifted mind you have and for giving you the desire to use it to your best ability.  It is exciting to see you realize that your mind can open many doors.  The Duke TIP program is pretty cool and gave you the opportunity to take the SAT.  You blew it out of the water and were invited to a special ceremony because of your test score.  Nicely done!

These Boys - growing up

Both of these pics were taken after church on a Sunday.  We are forever grateful that God gave us friends in our Young Married class, who were blessed with children all at the same time.  Now our kids love being a part of the same church and have each other to count on.  I am thankful for each of them and the relationships they share.

Landry's Last Day of 5th Grade

This year definitely flew by faster than the rest.  Another great one in the books and now you are off to Middle School.  Mr. J always leads the staff in singing, "nah, nah, nah, nah, hey, hey, hey, good bye at the final assembly.
Your last day was Field Day!  A great way to end the year.

Landry's 5th Grade Graduation

Really where does the time go??  Sweet Landry, we are so proud of the student you are at Greensboro Academy and for the teachers God has blessed you with.  You have rocked out Elementary School and received the Principal's Award every year as a straight A student. Mr. J, Mrs. Gilbride and Mrs. Mize made a great team!

Hugs as you graduation and high fives for Principal's Award.

You two share something special.  We will all remember Mr. J forever.
