Landry Turns 11!

Girl, how the years fly by.  Each age is better than the one before as you develop into YOU.  We are so very thankful that God completed our family with you.  Out of all the girls in the whole world that could have been in our family, He chose you and oh how you bring us joy!

Your grit, determination, desire to learn, love of sport both played and watched, your incredible laugh, soft skin, snuggly love, deep heart,  love of reading, passion for friends and family and how you have already set your course to be in God's will, well that makes you you!  We love singing with you at bedtime and setting up your scranimals.  The little animal faces and noises you make that are your own language are adorable.  Your willingness to try and do new adventurous has given you so many opportunities.  Loving Brooks and being his friend is a treat to watch unfold.

This year for your birthday you wanted to run an Amazing Race!  We had a great time as you and friends spent a few hours completing mental and physical tasks.  You have friends that truly love you and enjoy being with you.  Everyone worked together as one big team and it was really interesting to see how in various challenges, different strengths spread across all of you made for success.

Praise the Lord that you are healthy..  At your well visit you weighted 83 lbs. (54%), were 4'9" tall (54%), had a BMI of 18.12 (60%), vision was 20/20 and blood pressure at 95/60.  Perfect!!


The Sheltons were very kind and drove up on your birthday to take you to breakfast before church.

Kate gave you a very special gift, a Christmas quilted table runner.  But, the best part was that you two went to the fabric store to select your fabric and then quilted it yourselves.  Of course, Mrs. Sheppard led the way.
